An excerpt
from The Visitor from Venus
Billy and Roy took
the Chevy down Pottswaller Road, back where they'd seen the lights the
night before. The evening was still, the moon a slim crescent, but a glow
from over the hill caught the boys attention.
"What is that?"
Billy asked.
"Let's check
it out," answered Roy.
They pulled off the
dirt road and into the grassy scrub. The Chevy picked its way over the
rough terrain well enough, but Roy drove very slowly.
Then a figure rose
from behind the hill, walking toward them.
"Holy cats!" Billy shouted as Roy slammed
on the brakes. The headlights washed over the figure, beautiful and glowing,
the light coming from behind with an eerie, otherworldly humming. The
boys opened their door and started to get out, but stood mesmerized at
the sight.
It was a nude girl!
